As a week-end break in between the filming trip in Belgium, Phil Zwijsen, Madars Apse, Michael Mackrodt and Tm Christian Vankelst flew to Italy for the Vans Downtown Showdown.
Phil was awarded 1st as ‘Best Amateur’, Madars Apse came 2nd for best trick on the Cliché obstacle and the team was named as the overall event winners.

Cruising the entire course and hitting all the obstacles, Phil gained 2nd
at this years European Skateboard Championships in Basel.
Element was represented by Ruben Rodrigues, Jo Lorenz, Bas Janssen, Guillaume Mocquin, Evelien Bouilliart and it was the defending European Champion, Phil Zwijsen from Belgium who took Element to the podium his faultless run gaining him 2nd place.

The trip in Finland is over, it was a great journey. After eleven days of consecutive skating and filming it is time for a little break. Many thanks to Deeli, Janne, Pirkka and the Perus guys for showing us around and taking a good care of us!
