Congratulations to Element team riders Phil Zwijsen and Evelien Bouilliart for their 1st (mens division) and 2nd place (girls division) during last weekend’s European championships in Basel. GIVE: a creative collaboration, will bring together some of Element's top artists and Advocates including Brooke Reidt, Lisa Solberg, Beck Hickey, Craig Metzger, Don Pendleton, Amber B, and Todd Francis–just to name a few–to customize TOMS Shoes for customers. Or, purchase a pair of TOMS and customize them yourself! All the supplies necessary will be provided. For every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of shoes to a child in need. One for One.
The event will run from 3pm until 9pm and throughout the day, Ray Barbee will perform his music stylings, along with The Growlers, Will Crum and DJs Mataji Booker and Alfred Hawkins. A special VIP afterparty will directly follow the event.

Element Europe riders Ruben Rodrigues and Madars Apse placed well, finishing 5th and 6th respectively. Collin Provost took 12th despite an injury that kept him from skating in the finals. YOUTH MOVEMENT COOP TOUR TODAY |

Stop by the Laguna Beach Boys and Girls Club today at 3pm to see the Collective Sound Music Academy kids perform along with the Scratched art show. These kids ROCK and the Collective Sound is the best music camp out there. If you miss the performances today, catch them tonight in Costa Mesa at the Orange County Fair, with special guests The Shimmies. Check out the other stops this week in Venice Beach, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco.
The goal of the Youth Movement CoOp Tour is create awareness about the issues facing today's youth. Whether it is music education, world hunger, health or the environment. Music, Art, Educate!

Nyjah Huston won best trick on the 16 stair rail and took 2nd place overall in street and Darrell Stanton grabbed 4th. Bucky Lasek took 3rd in vert, followed by Lincoln Ueda in 8th. BOOK: DREAMSELLER - THE BRANDON NOVAK STORY |

| Bam Margera's crash test dummy Brandon Novak is set to release a book entitled "Dreamseller: An Addiction Memoir." As Bam puts it on the cover, it's "Entertaining, shocking, crazy, unimaginable." Novak has traveled extensively with the Element team over the years, never failing to accumulate wild tales along the way, we can only imagine what he's packed into this book. The book releases on September 30th. Further, Bam has begun production on the movie where he plays Novak, more on both projects as they develop. |

Kids came out from all over the I.E. out to compete for prizes including a new Element Flat Bar and two Scholarships to Element YMCA Skate Camp. In the end, it was Miguel Gamino who took home top honors and the Element Flat Bar. Austin Grant came in a respectable second place also earning a place at Element YMCA Skatecamp this summer. As part of the Lula Washington Dance Theater, Mataji Booker & The Museum/Of/Traffic has a performance that is not to be missed, Friday, May 16th in Los Angeles, California.
Inspired by Parallels found between the year 1968 and 2008, Mataji Booker performs an experimental, solo dance piece, collaborating with live audio and images produced in the moment by The Museum Of Traffic. Through use of live video projection, modern dance and sound, this unconventional threesome will explore and reconstruct issues of safety, war, automotive technology and images and ideas found relating to each.
