Element Shines at Downtown Showdown

Element took to the back lot of Universal Studios on Labor Day for the ‘Downtown Showdown’, where over the course of five makeshift spots top teams battled it out in a creative format. Element Am Nyjah Huston skated amazingly well all day beginning with a back tail and a kickflip 50 kf out among others on the first obstacle. On the second setting Tosh bluntslid and Mike V went on and over the car on second setting to chalk up some points. Nyjah impressed judges on the big 6 and hubba obstacle with a medley of bangers .Next, Jeremy Wray took to the unique but difficult teeter-totter obstacle that had most stumped. On the final setting Nyjah killed the rail and just when everyone thought he was done he finished it off with this . In the end Element fell 1 point short of first place but had a ton of fun in the labor day sun. Thanks to Vans and everyone that came out to support this comp.
