SBC releases Photo Annual |
The great north’s premiere skate mag ‘SBC’ has released its photo annual which includes impressive photography from a wealth of talented button pushers. Australian rider Josh Rio made a North American voyage a few months ago and it proved fruitful as he received the contents page as well as the opening spread of Element friend Ryan Allan’s page. Element YMCA Skate Camp counselor Doug Hardy also has a sick photo in the mag. If skate photos aren’t what your after, one of our favorite photograhers around here, Boogie even has a couple pages of work. If you see this cover, pick it up and have a gander.

Mini Ramp Rippin at Orlando Trade Show |

|
| As part of trade show season Element riders headed to Orlando to skate the ‘Volcom Togo Rush’ Mini Ramp Jam. Chris Senn skating hard and aggressive as always taking 6th and $800 bucks while Tosh and his ever-expanding bag of mini-ramp tricks took 8th and $600. Am Collin Provost who is always a standout on transition killed it all afternoon and then got broke in the finals leaving with a broken arm, the little ripper still got third and $200. We wish Collin well and hope to see him flying around skateparks with effortless style in no time. |

Paint A Deck Get A Deck |

|
| Element spread some Holiday cheer sponsoring the 3rd annual Paint-A-Deck Get-A-Deck in Watts, CA. The event was put on by Elemental Awareness and the WLCAC. Kids painted boards following an animal theme, with inspiration drawn from field guides provided by E.A. Throughout the evening some great work was made with breaks taken for a skate session and some pizza. As the event ended painted boards were laid out trade blanket style and new Element decks were awarded for their efforts. Thanks to everyone who came out and made some great board graphics and the WLCAC for facility use. |
