BRENT ATCHLEY VIDEO PREMIERE - PORTLAND, OR

To properly induct Brent Atchley into the pro ranks a memorable celebration was held in Portland, OR last night. The venue seemed to mimic Brent's style being both unique and notable. 'McMenamins Kennedy School,'played host to two video premieres and a eclectic and supportive medley of P-towns finest. Element opened the bar to all and as drinks began to flow so did the feeling of positivity and sense of community. Brent's father and expansive group of friends mingled into the couches and chairs that made up the comfortable and elegant seating arrangement, getting set for Brent's pro debut video premiere. An eruption of cheers filled the air as the screen went black and began Brent's video. After Brent's premiere reputable and talented local Tucker Glasgow (left) premiered his long awaited full length video "Etiquette" featuring another full Brent part as well as others like friends Robin Baker (pictured with tucker). More constant loud cheers continued through "Etiquette" especially for recently deceased Trevor Prescott (R.I.P) who was very inspirational for the film. As credits of "Etiquette" began, more expansive cheers and claps rolled through the building. As hard core and real the Portland scene is, it's evident that it also breeds love and oneness as skaters new and old reminisced and caught up before heading to another local hot spot. Element is proud to have put on an event that was special for everyone while welcoming a true original, Brent Atchley, into pro ranks. Much love to Brent and P-town.
