ELEMENT TAKES THIRD AT VANS DOWNTOWN SHOWDOWN / MIKE V & NYJAH PLACE SECOND ON OBSTACLES |

| Element team took third place at Sunday’s Vans Downtown Showdown that happened at Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles. The team consisted of Mike Vallely, Tosh Townend, Nyjah Huston, Chris Senn, Collin Provost, Tony Tave, Dallas Rockvam & Levi Brown, with 2-3 skaters on 4 different obstacles. Mike V took second on the ‘Hyphy Hip’ & Nyjah also took a second place victory on Element’s ‘Double Down’ Obstacle. Click here to check out photos & more from the event. |

| Element riders finished out the Finland trip with an excellent day. Both Element Europe riders Janne Saario & Pirrka Polari are from the area so we skated some amazing spots. We had all sorts of weather but even that made for some fun times. Our last night was also Pirrka's birthday so everyone celebrated before heading out to early AM flights towards the part of the globe they call home . ELEMENT WOMEN TEAR UP SLAM CITY JAM - LACEY BAKER, VANESSA TORRES, KAREN JONES TAKE TOP HONORS |

| Congrats to Element riders Lacey Baker & Vanessa Torres who placed First and Second respectively at Slam City Jam's Womens street event. This comes as Lacey's first victory in a premiere womens street event and was awarded a $2,500 check, not too shabby especially at only 14 years old. Vanessa didn't stop at the street, she also placed third in the vert contest, an event which was won by Element Brazil's Karen Jones. Also receiving note from the event is Tony Tave who's nollie inward heel in the men's best trick contest got him $1,000. Congrats to Lacey, Vanessa, Karen & Tony on their weekend accomplishments. ELEMENT RIDERS AT PARK OPENING IN HELSINKI, FINLAND |

| Element's trip to Finland continued on with the main event, the grand opening of the skatepark in Helsinki, Finland. Element Europe rider Janne Saario designed and oversaw park construction since day one and today saw the fruits of his hard labor being enjoyed by hundreds of skaters all afternoon. Element US and Europe riders were just as excited to take part in the event and skate with everyone. ELEMENT RIDERS IN HELSINKI, FINLAND |

| Element Ams & Element Europe riders headed out to Helsinki, Finland to meet up for five days of skating and to celebrate the opening of a skate plaza designed by Element Europe rider Janne Saario. Once the whole group is together it will consist of 9 riders all from different regions of the world, quite an amazing group. By the end of day two, most everyone had arrived, the whole crew will be present for the parks opening. Check out photos from the beginning of the trip and check back for more soon. |

| Congrats to Bucky Lasek who took second at this weekends Vans Invitational. With this placing he remains in first place on the contest tour circuit. On the park side of things Nyjah Huston had another great performance and finished in 4th place, continuing his streak of top 10 finishes in major contests. MIKE V RELEASES NEW CD – BAM STARTS OWN LABEL |

| Mike Vallely along with his band Revolution Mother , are proud to announce the release of their first CD entitled “Enjoy the Ride.” The band has been touring strong over the last two months receiveing rave reviews, visit their web site or iTunes store to preview tunes and purchase the CD. Bam Margera also took a step up in the music world, starting his own label called Filthy Note

ELEMENTALITY V.2 PREVIEW PARTY WITH SUN DIEGO BOARDSHOP |

| Saturday night the Element crew headed down to San Diego, CA for an Elementality Vol. 2 preview party at Sun Diego Boardshop. The event started at the Sun Diego shop in Mission Beach where everyone gathered and the team signed autographs. From there everyone headed to the nearby outdoor bar where the video was played and the free drinks poured. Everyone was stoked on the early preview of the video that drops on September 1st. ELEMENT EUROPE SKATE CAMP FINISHES UP |

| The summer 06 edition of the element skatecamp took place at Hall 4 skatepark in Hossegor, France. The kids were amped and skating went down 'till way past sunset either at the park or at the nearby spanish streetspots and pool and miniramps, being driven around in the element europe van. Special thanks to element riders Bas Janssen, Michael Mackrodt and Gauthier Rouger for spending time with the kids and to the hall4 crew for helping us make this happen. |

| The Element team headed to Beachworks board shop in Costa Mesa, CA yesterday for a signing. On hand was Mike Vallely, Tosh Townend, Tony Tave, Dallas Rockvam, Levi Brown, Collin Provost & Brent Atchely. Lots of skaters came through, met the team, got their autographs and photo ops in; many leaving with free element product in hand. Thanks to everyone that came out! |
