WEEKEND EDITION NEWS

A quick rundown of happenings today and through the weekend. As part of Free Fridays fecalface.com is having a contest for a Element Jeremy Fish board,click here for all the info or at least for a good laugh. In the art world Element family member Jesse Hotchkiss is having a show on Saturday in Culver City at the LAB101, click here for all the info on that. On Sunday as part of Fuel TV’s “Insane Cinema” Elementality Vol. 1 will be airing at 9:30ET/PT, check it out!

BAM & ELEMENT AMS IN NEW SKATEBOARDER

Check out the new Skateboarder Magazine where you’ll find Bam Margera in a ‘Question Authority’ article. Bam answers some of the many questions skaters have sent in to the magazine. Also in the mag is an Element Am’s trip to Phoenix, Arizona built around their daily indulgence in Whole Foods markets. The article includes Dallas Rockvam, Collin Provost, Levi Brown & Element Chile’s Spiro Razis. Check out the mag in your local skate shop!

ELEMENT PUERTO RICO TOUR WRAPS UP

For the final two days in Puerto rico the team headed back to San Juan where the spots are in abundance. Tosh has been unstoppable in this final portion of the trip, even starting a session at 7 AM to get avoid security and get a trick he really wanted. The photos from this trip will be seen in a near future Transworld and all the footage in the upcoming full length element video. The Puerto Rico tour puts a wrap on the Summer of EnduranceTour schedule, a grueling but productive and memorable three months. Thanks to everyone that came out to the events and the entire team for enduring the elements.

ELEMENT PUERTO RICO TOUR - DAY 6 - AGUADILLA, PR

The Element Puerto Rico tour continued on and today was as full as days come, including street skating, a signing & a demo. The day was spent in Mayaquez for street skating & Aguadilla for the remainder. The rain put a hold on the demo so the team held and autograph signing at ABS skate shop. Once that was finished it was dark out but the park was just about dry so what was left of a bruised up crew put on an amazing demo, especially for the circumstances, Check out the photos for more.

ELEMENT PUERTO RICO TOUR - ARICEBO, PR

The Element Puerto Rico tour continued today in Aricebo, PR. With some events you never know what your in for and this one was a standout. These events always turn out successful but a difficult to take in at first. Hundreds of people were in attendance for a big purse AM contest, bands, bikini contest, autograph signing, etc. with a demo mixed in there somewhere; we never knew what was coming next. It was pretty much chaos but everyone made the most of it, put on a solid demo, signed & mingled until daylight ran out. Check out the photos for more story.

ELEMENT PUERTO RICO TOUR CONTINUES - PHOTOS & STORY

Click here to check out days 3 & 4 on the current Element Puerto Rico tour . The team skated all day in San Juan where wee continued to find amazing spots. The team then drove across the island to Aguadilla. The next day was spent there its a beautiful area but rural which doesn't always make for great skating but did come up on some spots. The weekend schedule is packed with demo's and skating so check back for those photos.

DAY 2 - ELEMENT PUERTO RICO TOUR

The Element Puerto Rico tour continued today with the main focus being a demo on the outskirts of San Juan at Moisty Skatepark. We arrived at the park right at sunset for an evening skate under the lights. Even though it was a Wednesday night the team still drew a large crowd that were hyped to skate with the team and watch some great tricks go down. Check out the photos for a full report of the demo.

ELEMENT IN PUERTO RICO! PHOTOS & STORY FROM DAY 1

To finish out the Summer of Endurance the Element team headed to Puerto Rico , where its always summer time. With one day under our belts two things are certain, its going to be an amazing trip & its crazy hot out. Without going more than a mile from our hotel today we hit up some great spots including unique street spots, a secret pool & a plaza with all sorts of options. Check out the photos for a wrap up on the first day in San Juan, Puerto Rico and check back often for updates.

ELEMENT RIDERS IN FLORIDA / HEAD TO PUERTO RICO

Element riders Tosh Townend & Collin Provost made a stop in Florida for the Neanderthal Brawl Mini Ramp Jam. Tosh was spotted with a nollie frontside ollie and Collin with a frontside air. After the contest the two headed to Puerto Rico where they'll meet up with more of the Element team for a week long trip. Check back soon for photos & updates from the trip.

BUCKY LASEK TAKES FIRST IN SAN JOSE!

Congrats to Element rider Bucky Lasek who took first at the Toyota Challenge in San Jose, CA. This was the fourth stop on the Dew Tour and puts Bucky in great position to win the whole tour. Congrats to Bucky and best of luck on the last stop coming up.

LUCIEN CLARKE INTERVIEW IN EUROPEAN SKATE MAG KINGPIN

Element Europe rider Lucien Clarke landed a full interview in the new Kingpin magazine . Kingpin is the biggest mag in Europe and includes a section called ‘Slept On’ in which Lucien can be found. ELEMENT "MAKE YOUR MARK" PARTY

Element hosted “Make Your Mark” this last weekend, a unique party celebrating the preview of Mike Vallely & Tosh Townends pro shoes. Rather than having art on display it was up to the guests to “make their mark” on two walls of griptape & 50 white Element boards. With whole lot of paint pens, free drinks, and a great DJ the night was full of fun, check out the photos for more.

CHRIS SENN GETS TRANSWORLD COVER! DALLAS ROCKVAM & COLLIN PROVOST IN THRASHER ARTICLE

Check out the new Transworld where Chris Senn is found on the cover with a ridiculous five-0. Photo was shot by Element family member Chris Ortiz, congrats to both Senn & Ortiz on a great cover. The photo comes from a visit to China which can be found inside the mag & includes the sequence of the cover photo. In the new Thrasher Dallas Rockvam and Collin Provost are in an article from a recent trip they put together titled ‘Adventures in Babysitting.’ Multiple pages of great skating from both Element Am’s is documented in their travels to Vancouver. ELEMENT TAKES THIRD AT VANS DOWNTOWN SHOWDOWN / MIKE V & NYJAH PLACE SECOND ON OBSTACLES

Element team took third place at Sunday’s Vans Downtown Showdown that happened at Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles. The team consisted of Mike Vallely, Tosh Townend, Nyjah Huston, Chris Senn, Collin Provost, Tony Tave, Dallas Rockvam & Levi Brown, with 2-3 skaters on 4 different obstacles. Mike V took second on the ‘Hyphy Hip’ & Nyjah also took a second place victory on Element’s ‘Double Down’ Obstacle. Click here to check out photos & more from the event.
