THE DEWITTS / NAME THE TRICK GET A TREAT

Many of us here at Element were in the spirit today, dressing up as the distinctively styled Team Manager Ryan DeWitt. Infamous in the skate scene and world traveled, everyone was trying to be DeWitt for the day, Audio Visual director Kirk Dianda took the cake for best look-alike. Even in Hawaii they caught word and got styled out.

And here's your chance to win some free stuff today. In lieu of the holiday this element rider dressed up, and even has a board graphic in the spirit. Figure out which rider it is and name the trick, send an email to media@elementskateboards.com ... the first five people to answer correctly will win something Element, U.S. winners only.

ELEMENT RIDERS WEEKEND IN SO-CAL

A handful of Element riders were busy in Southern California this weekend handling all sorts of business. Most of the Element Ams skated the Damn Am contest that was going strong all weekend in Costa Mesa, click here to watch some clips of Dallas Rockvam and Collin Provost. Also in town was Nyjah Huston who was shooting the initial offering in the second wave of Hi-Def Element Commercials as well as street skating under the sunny southern california sun. DAMN AM & WORLD CUP FINISH UP YEARLY SCHEDULE THIS WEEKEND

The biggest Pro & Am contest series come to a close with events this weekend. Damn Am begins Thursday and rolls through the weekend in Costa Mesa, CA. Element riders Collin Provost, Dallas Rockvam, Levi Brown, Justin Schulte & Lacey Baker will be skating in that contest. Out in Peoria, AZ the “Desert Dog Bowl Bash” will put a wrap on the World Cup bowl series. Chris Senn will maching around the bowl for Element in that one.

NYJAH TAKES MVP HONORS FOR GOOFY TEAM! COLLIN FINISHES 6TH! LACEY/EVELIEN/VANESSA TAKE WOMENS TOP HONORS!

Congrats to Element Riders Nyjah Huston & Collin Provost who combined forces to grab the title for the goofy team at this years Goofy Vs. Regular contest. Nyjah was on fire all day and took home the MVP title for the Goofy team! Collin skated great throughout as well finishing with a solid sixth place. Element women cleaned up in their division taking top honors with Evelien Bouilliart in 2nd, Lacey Baker in 3rd and Vanessa Torres in 4th! MIKE V / TONY TAVE ‘START TO FINISH’ HI-DEF COMMERCIALS RELEASED

The ‘Start to Finish’ commercials have begun releasing in part with the Audio Visual weekly web clips. The commercials were filmed in Hi-Def and can be seen through the Audio Visual portion of the site and on Fuel TV. KEEP A BREAST ONLINE AUCTION: BAMS BUM PAINTED, ART BY SENN, WRAY, PENDLETON, FRANCIS

BUCKY TAKES DEW TOUR CUP!

Congrats to Element pro Bucky Lasek who defended his Dew Tour vert title, taking first place overall in the five contest series. CHULA VISTA E.A. CONTEST GOES OFF!

Elemental Awareness was in Chula Vista, CA Sunday where they put on a contest in conjunction with the Boys&Girls club. The lively skate scene was full of great attitudes and abilities to match. Skaters battled it out over three divisions keeping the large crowd entertained throughout. Props to our first place winners Johnny Ramos (13&under), David Cobb (14-17) & Saul Quintero (18&up), with Arturo Sanchez a close second. All walked away with a good handful of Element product for their efforts. Thanks to Kevin at Overload skate shop & Aaron at the Chula park.

HI-DEF ELEMENT COMMERCIALS WRAP UP / PREMIERE NEXT WEEK

Element AudioVisual head Kirk Dianda and the Element team were busy this week filming for an upcoming commercial series. The high quality production will premiere online next week as the featured AV Clip of the Week , they will also be shown on Fuel and other programs in the coming months. The first set of commercials will feature Chad Tim Tim, Tosh Townend, Tony Tave, Levi Brown & Collin Provost, check back next week to check the first in the series.

BRENT ATCHLEY TAKES FORTH AT MINI RAMP JAM - FOOTAGE IN WEEKLY AUDIO VISUAL CLIP

Congrats to Brent Atchley who took forth in last weekends mini-ramp invitational at the RVCA ramp. Although the event was full of big names it was a low key gathering with more of a backyard jam feel. Footage of Brent at this event is this weeks featured Audio Visual clip and podcast. The Element Europe team is always busy traveling around the continent finding unique spots, they are currently skating in Bilbao, Spain. GAME OF S.K.A.T.E. IN COSTA MESA

This weekend Elemental Awareness held a game of S.K.A.T.E in conjunction with Active Costa Mesa. Entrants ranged from young rippers like Justin Drysen to seasoned flat ground rulers. In the end Luis walked away with the title and a years supply of Element boards! Thanks to everyone that came out and ‘The Camp’ for the usage of the lot. The next Elemental Awareness contest is October 15th at the Chula Vista Skatepark.

BAM & ELEMENT AMS IN NEW SKATEBOARDER

Check out the new Skateboarder Magazine where you’ll find Bam Margera in a ‘Question Authority’ article. Bam answers some of the many questions skaters have sent in to the magazine.
