BEHIND THE SCENES – CHAD TIM TIM

Chad Tim Tim is an amazing person, on and off the board, so when we got to catch up with him to talk all things Element, it was a great experience. That is until Ricki “The Dude” Bedenbaugh rolled up… Their dynamic is hilarious and heart-warming.

Nevertheless, here’s a collection of behind-the-scenes imagery captured by Element Advocate, Amber B, and a bonus clip of Chad, and his other wife…

INTERVIEW – MUSKA GETS ON ELEMENT

Through an odd sequence of events, Chad Muska and Brent Atchley end up on the phone together. From there, one of skateboarding’s most iconic figures gets on Element. It truly is a small world after all.

INTERVIEW – BAM & DEWITT MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME

Imagine if your first day on the job consisted of losing the rental car, getting your credit card declined, and over-booking the hotel rooms for the team. Sound bad? Well, add Bam to the mix, and you’ve got Element team manager, Ryan Dewitt’s worst nightmare.

INTERVIEW – JEREMY WRAY ON WORLD TOUR & THE DEATH LENS

During an interview for MAKE IT COUNT, Jeremy Wray talked about filming for the World Tour video, which released in 1999… Lucky for us, he had just got on the team, and didn’t have much demo & tour footage under his belt. Instead, he hit the streets, and filmed some of the most impressive street footage that the history books had ever seen.

On a trivial note, one of Jeremy’s standout tricks in his part, the frontside 360 at the Santa Monica triple-set, was the first trick filmed with the death-lens… Dan Wolfe, who filmed and edited World Tour, is accredited with being the first to own and shoot with the notorious death-lens, which is now synonymous with skateboard videos.
