Element kicked off 2002 by turning Tosh pro. 2003 will begin with Jake Rupp swimming upstream to join element's pro ranks early in the new year. Keep your eyes peeled for Jake's first-ever pro model due out in shops soon. |

Just last week Element hosted a special day for inner-city youth in conjunction with ex-pro skater Ron Chatman. Ron's
yo! Watts group of youngsters got to experience a day in the life of the skateboard industry, where they received a tour of board-manufacturing and printing facilities and got to
hear the story of how the Element company was started back in 1992. At the end of the day, they got to skate at an indoor park with some of the Element pro team. |

Natas Kaupas came by the Element offices just the other day to sign a stack of his
retro-shape panther boards. The classic
panther graphic is as legendary as the man himself. Look for it in a skateshop near you. |

The Element Team section is now online. You can view it by clicking the team button in the main website, then choosing a rider from the menu. The team pages will be updated with photo galleries and video of each rider very soon. Be sure to check it out. |

Well, all the hype about Element's Fiberlight boards is finally proving true. We've had a large quantity of the boards arrive at our warehouse and a few seconds later, they're flying out the door. Reports are coming in from people who are really impressed with the revolutionary board construction. Swing by your local skateshop and try to find one. |
