Jake Rupp has a new ad out in magazines now. For those who don't already know, Jake is an amazingly talented skater - he oozes style on a skateboard yet maintains the most amazing humbleness as a person. He has been quietly coming up through the ranks, and is soon to become Element's next pro. Along with this approaching milestone in Jake's life, he and his girlfriend Beth are also expecting their first child Kaya to be arriving very soon. You can read and learn more about Jake in his exclusive interview in the upcoming Element Wind book, due out in the new year.

Bam Margera is in the LA area for a special premiere of the new movie JACKASS. He dropped by the element offices today and brought us up to speed on this week's happenings. Check out the jackass schedule of events below:

Oct 22 - MTV Jackass the Movie backyard BBQ with special guests.
Oct 23 - MTV Cribs Special on the homes of Jackass will feature Bam Margera, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and a few other JACKASS crew's cribs. The show airs Wed. Oct. 23rd at 10:30 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time).
Oct 24 - Secret Jackass screening for the skate community, at an unknown location somewhere in Los Angeles.
Oct 25 - The Premiere of JACKASS the MOVIE in theatres nationwide.

Tosh Townend recently returned from a trip to Europe, shooting new footage for his part in the upcoming Emerica video "This is Skateboarding". Tosh has been on a filming mission - after getting home he headed right back out on the road again to film, this time in Arizona.

While in the Grand Canyon state, he picked up a two-month old chocolate lab puppy. Aptly named 'Cheeba', Tosh's new sidekick paid a visit to the Element offices just yesterday. Naturally, every girl in the office dropped what they were doing to smother Cheeba with attention!

Natas Kaupas' dog and best friend Bonnie recently strayed away during a photo shoot in Mexico. Natas waited at the scene for hours hoping his pet would return, but eventually he had to head home. Miraculously, almost a whole week later, he received a phone call from the person who found her and quickly drove down to pick her up. A little thinner than normal and with a new found love of mariachi music, Bonnie is OK and home safely.

Hot off the press, the Element KNOWLEDGE IS POWER midwest tour is set to roll this weekend in two midwestern US cities. Element riders Kenny Hughes, Jeremy Wray, Terry Kennedy, Jeremiah Vance, Colt Cannon, Reese Forbes and Bam Margera will be hitting various parks and spots, in anticipation of the upcoming element 'Wind' book, due out soon. Oct 5 - Milwaukee : morning demo at 4 Seasons skatepark.
Oct 6 - Milwaukee : 2-3 PM - signing at Phase II.
Oct 8 - Chicago : 5:30-8 PM - demo at 31st Street park,

Oct 11 - Lisle, Illinois : 4-5 PM - signing at Skate Shack.
