KAT VON D TATTOO SWEEPSTAKES

Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. You may enter by filling out an entry form included with all BAM/Kat Von D signature skateboards. You may also request that an entry form be sent to you by mail by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Element Skateboards, Inc., 121 Waterworks Way, Irvine, California 92618, Attn: Kat Von D Sweepstakes. You must complete all entry information requested, including your full name, email address, mailing address, and age.

3. All entries must be received by July 15, 2008, 11:59 p.m. PST. Entrants must be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry. The Winner will be required to provide valid identification to verify his or her age.

4. Employees of Element Skateboards, Inc. (Element) and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and prize suppliers are not eligible to participate and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win.

5. One (1) grand prize winner will receive an original Kat Von D tattoo of the graphic appearing on the BAM/Kat Von D signature skateboard (Total approximate retail value for grand prize: $1500.00). The tattoo will be black and grey, no larger than 8 x 10 inches, and will be limited to the actual skateboard deck graphic (i.e. no other artwork or lettering included).

6. A random drawing to select the grand prize winner will be conducted on or about August 1, 2008 by representatives of Element whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winner will be notified by email and/or mail. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Winner cannot be pregnant at time tattoo is done. Winner must schedule an appointment with artist at a mutually convenience time within 2 months of prize notification.

7. By entering and/or accepting a prize, winner releases and agrees to hold harmless Kat Von D, Element, its directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind, including death, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize or participation in this Sweepstakes. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent to use winner's name and likeness for editorial, advertising, and publicity purposes, without further compensation, except where prohibited. Winner's name will/may be posted on www.elementskateoards.com.

8. Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible or incompletely received, for any reason, will not be eligible and Element is not responsible for any delivery problems. Element reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Sweepstakes. In the event of termination, a random drawing will be held from among all eligible entries received at the time of termination.

9. Any personal information supplied by entrants to Element will be subject to Element's privacy policy and terms and conditions located on Element's website. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrant agrees to receive e-mail or other communication from Element.

11. Element reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Sweepstakes.

12. Entries will not be acknowledged.

13. Element will not accept phone calls concerning this Sweepstakes.

14. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations of the United States with venue in Orange County in the State of California. Winner is responsible for any taxes payable on prize or otherwise.

15. By entering, you agree to be fully bound by these Official Rules.

16. For a copy of the Official Rules or the winner's list, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Element Skateboards, Inc., 121 Waterworks Way, Irvine, California 92618, Attn: Kat Von D Sweepstakes. Residents of Vermont may omit postage.
